Traditional firestopping methods require the firestop material to be applied around the pipe prior to setting the toilet flange, which can be problematic if the firestop material is not recessed a sufficient distance from the top to accommodate the throat of the flange. The alternative is to apply the firestopping from the underside of the floor, necessitating the use of ladders or lifts. Marine RTV Firestop Foam

This two-component RTV silicone foam features excellent crack-and-void filling capabilities and provides high resilience to accommodate vibration. MRF is designed as a seal for both deck and bulkhead pipe penetrations, which when properly mixed, expands 2 to 4 times its original volume, filling available spaces and forming an effective barrier against fire, smoke, hot gas and water penetration.

SpecSeal® Firestop Blocks are penetration firestop products resembling foam bricks. These intumescent urethane foam blocks are installed in openings by compressing and stacking into the opening in a brick-like fashion. The intumescent block expands in high temperatures to impede fire, smoke, and gas passage.
